Crazy Pants

So, I've been seeing the printed pants trend in every magazine lately and thought, "Ugh, CRAZY," ESPECIALLY about most of the floral ones. But then I saw these a few months ago at Change Clothes. I couldn't help but be drawn to them, though I resisted for a long time. Finally, though, I tried them on, and while they've got wider legs than I like (I prefer slimmer pants) it was instant love.

The real key with print pants, I think, is to let the pants speak for themselves - it's why I chose solid pieces to wear with them, like this vest. I think that this olive-y green and blue compliment each other beautifully, though I also can't wait to wear these pants with yellow and red pieces. I just got a pair of awesome yellow pumps that will be making an appearance soon.

I also tried to stay with relatively sleek, simple jewelry, since the pants are so busy. These earrings were perfect; they're one of my favorite pairs.

Every summer I lean towards wedges (which I've probably told you already) and these that I borrowed (ahem, STOLE) from my friend Natalie are perfect - they're a great neutral color that goes with EVERYTHING.

These pants will TOTALLY be making another appearance soon. LOVE!
