Lazy Weekend

So, this is the kind of thing that I wear on my weekends off - something comfy, but cute.

I wore this outfit to go shopping at the mall with my friend Lauren (who also took these pictures).
I love the detail on this shirt - I'm very into stripes right now (who isn't?), and the ruffles and collar just make it so lady-like. Then, to add to the overload of girliness, I added a flower pin. After all of that, I didn't want to add a ton of jewelry to my look. I felt that the cuff was just the right touch of pretty and tough.

I thought it'd be a nice counter-point to wear boyfriend jeans with this, especially since these are my go-to weekend jeans.

And of course, the shoes. I LOVE them. They hurt my feet initially, but after adding one of those ball-of-feet foot petal things, they're really quite comfortable, and I didn't have any problems walking around the mall for a couple of hours. Believe it or not, the heels are pretty low, which makes them fun and awesome.

What's your go-to weekend outfit? Anyone have one?

Kisses!

  1. Wow. I know it's casual, but this may be my favorite outfit on you, yet! It's proportions make you look TEENY TINY! And those shoes are adorable!!! So cute. Love. Love. Love.

  3. This is such a cute look! You really know how to rock the boyfriend jeans - I have a pair, but every time I try them on they just look wrong. But they look great on you!

  4. Thanks so much! My trick is to roll them up - I'm not crazy about them when they're all the way down because I think they look sloppy. But this way, they're still nicely loose, but since you can see my ankles, they still look pretty feminine.
