I love this shirt. I know, I say that about all my shirts, but it’s true! That’s one thing that I’ve tried to make standard – that I love everything in my closet. At the very least, I don’t own any items of clothing that I hate, which isn’t very convenient when I decide I want to do some painting. Oh well…
Anyway, this shirt is great. It’s incredibly light and flowy (see a trend with my shirts?), and I really like the color pallet. I even like that it’s shear – it makes it fun to decide what tanks to wear, though so far I’ve only worn navy.
Funny story about this shirt (isn’t there always one?). I’d seen it at the American Eagle online store and wanted to buy it, but decided to be strong and not do so. However, a week or so later, I decided to go shopping in Mandeville with a friend, where there just happened to be an American Eagle store. That day had started out chilly and then warmed, which was both awesome and not. Awesome because I love hot weather, not because I’d decided to wear a sweater that day. And the shopping center was one of those strip malls, so we were walking around outside.
I started sweating. Ew. Sooooo not lady-like. So, I dragged my friend into American Eagle where, lo and behold, the shirt I’d wanted was there! And it was short-sleeved (which I knew, but was really happy about)! And I’d gotten paid that week! And I had something to return to AE anyway! It was meant to be. So I totally bought it and wore it out of the store (which some people say is tacky, but I say isn’t). So this story has a happy ending. Yay!
Sorry about the lack of pictures today, but this was a pretty simple, straight-forward outfit, you guys had already seen the shoes, and it was hot outside. Soooo…I got lazy and only took two. But hey, isn’t my necklace cool? It even opens, though I don't keep anything in it.

I could totally be in an American Eagle ad. I'm cuter than most of those girls anyway, right ;-)?
