Indian for a Day - Day 15

Yay! Halfway there (at least with my posts)! Believe it or not, in real life I’m actually on Day 25. It’s sad, I’m ten days behind. But whatever.

The first time I wore this dress, I mentioned that I thought it had some Japanese vibes because of the pattern. However, when I added the earrings, gold accents, and the hot blues and pinks, I moved south of Japan to India. All I changed were the accessories, and I got a completely different feel from this dress. Huh. Imagine that. Even one of my students noticed it and said I looked “kind of Indian, or something,” which I took as a compliment since I love the culture, and my family's originally from that area of the world.

As you can see, I skipped the bracelets on both arms look this time, but don't worry, I still love it. I felt like the watch was enough with the giant pink belt - didn't want to overdo it. The dangly pink earrings also added a bit, I thought.

I love these colors (as I’m sure you can tell), and I thought this turned out well. And again, I overestimated the amount of light available, so sorry about the dark background. Hope you guys like the outfit.

Kisses!
